Old Mill Village celebrates 50 years

“Pumpkin Town” residents return to Old Mill Village this weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historic area attraction.

Come celebrate 50 years of Old Mill Village with the citizens of “Pumpkin Town”. Special guests and events are throughout the weekend event.

The anniversary celebration is slated for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 18-19.

The village is open noon-dusk on Saturday; and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Fireworks will be held Saturday night at dusk.

At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Rep. Sandra Major will be on hand for a special presentation.

See some old fashioned magic with magician Jeremy Biesecker at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

A scavenger hunt and other old style games will be held throughout both days.

Old Mill Village is located on Rt. 848, New Milford.

In addition to the special events, displays and craftspeople will bring old traditions back to life.
