A Nicholson area woman faces a felony charge for sexually assaulting a six-year-old boy four years ago in Harford Twp.
April Cole, 23, was charged Oct. 7 by State Trooper Craig Purdum with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 13 years of age.
The Susquehanna County Independent does not identify the victims of sexual assault.
According to the police affidavit, the child recently told a family member about the 2006 incident. The family member then informed the police.
Cole was interviewed by police and, according to the affidavit, admitted to the assault.
A preliminary hearing for Cole has been scheduled for Nov. 9 in Clifford District Court in front of Judge Suzanne Brainard.
