Dedicated supporters of Penn State Cooperative Extension, both were early organizers of the Farm City Feast when it began 44 years ago.

Harold has been known to say that Frances was the one who kept the dairy farm running while he was busy attending meetings and traveling to promote the interests of the agriculture industry.

Harold chose the county 4-H program to be the beneficiaries for this endeavor. All profits from the “Rotary on the Green” this past summer have also been added to the 4-H endowment with the Community Foundation.
