Montrose pins Elk Lake

The Montrose Area wrestling team picked up a 36-34 victory over Elk Lake’s Warriors on the road on Wednesday night.

The Meteors won all of its bouts by forfeit.

Elk Lake’s Devin Fiorentino (135) had a major decision and Isaiah Ofalt (189) won by pin for the Warriors.

Susquehanna’s Saber wrestling team faced a 60-15 loss from Scranton Prep at home on Saturday and a 60-15 loss from Valley View on Wednesday night.

On Saturday, Susquehanna had wins from Tom Maby (140), Nick Vales (145) and Jarrett Coleman (285).

Against Valley View, Susquehanna had wins from Troy Maby (112), Tom Maby (140) and Nick Vales (145), all by decision.
