BY STACI WILSON

A man who hid a digital camera in a bathroom in hopes of photographing a 15-year-old babysitter in various stages of undress appeared in Susquehanna County Court Friday.

Stanley Kevin Moser, 43, of Hallstead, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy. The charge is not a Megan’s Law offense.

Moser was also sentenced following his plea.

President Judge Kenneth Seamans ordered Moser undergo mental health and sexual offender evaluations.

He was also placed on probation for 15 months.

District Attorney Jason Legg said the primary concern of the victim and the victim’s family was that Moser seek help.

Moser admitted to concealing a digital camera in the bathroom of a Lanesboro residence in order to take pictures or videos of a teenage girl either using the bathroom or getting in and out of the shower without her knowledge.

According to the police affidavit, Moser admitted to trying to film the babysitter on two occasions at a Lanesboro residence in July 2010 but the teen found the camera each time.
