BILL STRANBURG
Montrose Area senior Bill Stranburg took part in the Lackawanna League boys’ basketball all-star game at Valley View High School on Tuesday night.
Stranburg, a part of the Blue team featuring players from Division II and III, scored five points as the Red team, featuring players from Division I, took an 83-66 win.
The Red squad took an early 27-17 lead after the first quarter and extended that lead to 45-30 by halftime.
After the break, the Red outscored the Blue 24-14 in the third before capping off the win despite the Blue going on a 22-14 run in the fourth.
