A number of Little League teams from across Susquehanna County have begun pool play and are in the hunt to show who is best in All-Star action.
Little League teams from Blue Ridge, Susco East, Susquehanna County and Montrose all entered contention in District 15.
DISTRICT 15
BLUE RIDGE
9-10 Boys
Blue Ridge’s 9-10 boys opened pool play action to be defeated 10-0 by Tunkhannock on Sunday. The team was set to face Susco East on Monday and Montrose on Tuesday.
11-12 Boys
Blue Ridge’s major boys went 2-0 to start pool play last week with a 9-0 win over Montrose on Friday, followed by a 5-1 victory over Susco East on Sunday. The team was set to play Tunkhannock on Monday and NEBALL on Tuesday.
SUSCO EAST
9-10 Boys
The Susco East 9-10 boys grabbed an 11-4 victory over Montrose in its opening game of pool play. The team was set to play Blue Ridge on Monday and Tunkhannock on Tuesday.
11-12 Boys
Susco East’s major boys currently stand at 0-2 in pool play with a 5-0 loss to NEBALL on Friday and a 5-1 loss to Blue Ridge on Sunday. The team was set to play Montrose on Monday.

9-10 Boys
The Montrose 9-10 boys opened to an 0-1 record in pool play with a 11-4 loss to Susco East. The team was set to play Tunkhannock on Monday and Blue Ridge on Tuesday.
11-12 Boys
Montrose’s 11-12 major boys fell to an 0-1 record to open pool play with a 9-0 loss to Blue Ridge. The team faced Susco East on Monday and Tunkhannock on Tuesday.

11-12 Girls
Susquehanna County’s major softball team went 0-4 in pool play facing losses from Athens 14-6 on June 19, Tunkhannock, 9-5 on June 20, NEBALL 12-2 on June 21, and RTL 14-8 on June 22.
