The FMS Generals Senior Legion baseball team grabbed a 6-3 victory over Hamlin on Tuesday evening on the road.
The Generals were down early as Hamlin scored a run in each of the first and second innings. However, the Generals scored a pair in the fourth to tie things up and scored three runs in the top of the fifth to make it a 5-2 game.
Hamlin got a run back in the fifth, but the Generals would cap off the win with an insurance run in the top of the seventh.
Scott Edwards drove in a pair of runs and Jim O’Brien had a double and an RBI to lead FMS.
Tanner Holmes picked up the pitching victory, giving up 12 hits, three earned runs and three walks while striking out seven in a complete-game appearance.
Jamie Wescott had a hit, a run and an RBI, while Vic Rosa added a single and a RBI.
