Meter stations get planning approval

BY STACI WILSON

Metering stations have begun to come before the Susquehanna County Planning Commission.

At the Aug. 30 meeting, the commission granted final approval for a Katie Pipeline, Stone Energy Corp., meter station in Auburn Twp.

Planning director Bob Templeton said the plan consists of two small buildings; one measures 5’x16’ and the other is proposed to be a small equipment storage shed at the site.

Williams Energy was granted approval for the construction of a meter station near the Zick compressor station in Kingsley.

The meter station will be placed on leased land across the road from the compressor station.

The plan calls for a 16’x49’ meter station to be constructed at the site.
