Elk Lake’s boys’ soccer team grabbed a 2-1 victory at home on Friday night over Blue Ridge in its homecoming game under the lights.
Tanner Reyen scored first with a goal at 24:56 in the first half with an assist from Cody Franssen.
In the second half,Blue Ridgegot scoring started with a goal from Jake James at 70:48 to tie up the game at one apiece.
However, Franssen knocked in a goal at 72:36 with an assist from Tyler Arnold to give the Warriors the winning edge.
ElkLakehad 19 shots on goal and four corners, as goalie Nick Dudock racked up eight saves.
The Raiders took nine shots on goal with two corners while goalie Tama Galu-Edgar had 10 saves.

Mountain View’s boys’ soccer team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 1-0 win atNorth Poconoon Friday afternoon.
Joe Jarrow’s penalty kick at 68 minutes in the second half was all the Eagles would need to pick up the victory.
Mountain Viewtook 13 shots on goal and had eight corners while goalie Nathan Moyer racked up three saves on the day.

TheForestCityboys’ soccer team remained unbeaten last week with a 2-0 win overBlue Ridgeon Saturday and a 3-0 win at home over Mid Valley on Tuesday.
AgainstBlue Ridge, Wayde Loomis had a goal and an assist to lead the Foresters while Dave Cavalieri also scored for the Foresters.
Goalie Zack Sosnoqski made six saves on goal while the Foresters had 18 shots on goal and eight corners.
Blue Ridgetook six shots on goal with two corners while goalie Tama Galu-Edgar had 11 saves.
On Tuesday, Dylan Walsh hit the net with an assist from Ryan Long at16:25while Jake Fedak scored an unassisted goal at 34:48 to give the Foresters a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
Cavalieri then scored at 66:24 to push the Foresters over the edge in the shutout win.
Goalie Zach Sosnowski racked up three saves on the day while the team had 14 shots on goal and 15 corners.

Mountain View’s boys’ soccer team picked up a 2-0 shutout win over Wallenpaupack on Tuesday afternoon.
At Wallenpaupack, Zeb Cross and Colby Thomas combined with two second half goals to propel the Eagles to a win.
Thomas assisted on Cross’ goal while Joe Jarrow assisted on Thomas’ goal.
Mountain Viewgoalie Nathan Moyer had six saves while the Eagles had 14 shots on goal and five corners.
