The Mountain View girls’ soccer team improved to 7-0 on the season on Wednesday with an 11-0 shutout of Mid Valley at home.
Sarah Pulice had four goals and two assists and Megan Getz added two goals and three assists to lead Mountain View.
Also scoring was Jenny Molenko with three goals, Alix Taylor with a goal and an assist and Stephanie Virbitsky with one goal.
Mountain View took 43 shots on goal and had four corner kicks while goalie Caity Tague had seven saves and Traci Kromko picked up a pair of saves for the Eagles.
Forest City
Forest City’s girls’ soccer team picked up a 5-0 victory over Holy Cross at home on Friday afternoon.
Meagan Goben scored a pair of first half goals and assisted on both of Carly Erdmann’s second half scores to lead the Lady Foresters to a 5-0 win in a Lackawanna League Division II matchup.
Taylor-Ray Tammero also scored on Friday with a goal seven minutes into the game with an assist from Kylie Besz.
The Foresters had 31 shots on goal and one corners while goalie Kalie Gigliotti had seven saves.
