The Montrose Area girls’ soccer team took a 6-0 victory over Carbondale on Tuesday evening to advance in the District II playoffs.
At Montrose, Sarah Lundy scored a pair of first half goals to get the Meteors off the ground, while Lindsay Gregory, Hannah Dieck and Meghan Gilhool all chipped in.
The Meteors also scored off an own goal, while Nicki Lewis, Myra Lattimore, Ali Reynolds, Sandra Avila and Gilhool all added assists.
Montrose took 17 shots on goal and had three corners while goalie Anna Churco had five saves in goal.
