Crash claims Kingsley man

A 46-year-old Kingsley man was killed Sunday in a one vehicle crash Sunday, Nov. 6, north of Montrose.

Michael Gensel, who was driving the 2002 Buick Century on Rt. 29, was ejected from the vehicle and died in the4:25 p.m.crash.

Passenger Robin Brown, 41, Kingsley, was also seriously injured, according to police reports.

According to police, Gensel was traveling north when he lost control of the vehicle which went into a field and flipped on its roof, ejecting Gensel and one of the vehicle’s two male passengers.

Police did not identify the male passengers in the press report.

The accident shut down the road for several hours Sunday evening while police investigated.

The investigation by Tpr. Alan Deutsch is continuing.
