The Blue Ridge boys’ basketball team grabbed an 83-72 victory over Susquehanna on the road on Saturday after taking a 61-54 victory overElkLakeat home on Thursday
Against Susquehanna, Alex Cardoza had a triple-double with 29 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds to lead the Raiders.
Jesse Pruitt added 26 points for the Raiders and Sawyer Dearborn scored 11 in the win.
Pacing Susquehanna was Andrzej Tomczyk with 24 points while teammate Cole Mallery dropped in 21 and Dan Biegert had 12.
On Thursday, the Raiders got ahead 21-5 after the first quarter and after a 17-10 run in the second held a 38-15 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the Raiders outscored the Warriors 16-14 in the third and despite a 25-7 run from Elk Lake in the fourth, the Raiders took the victory.
Dearborn scored 22 points and had seven rebounds to leadBlue Ridgewhile Chris Carlsen added 12 points and Cardoza had nine.
Rob Heft led Elk Lake with 13 points while Tanner Reyan had 12 and Matt Cuomo scored 11 points.
Montrose
The Montrose Area boys’ basketball team defeatedElkLake66-48 at home on Saturday after the team faced a 45-41 loss from Lackawanna Trail in the first game of the second half of the season on Thursday night.
On Saturday, The Meteors outscoredElkLakein three of four quarters after the Warriors got ahead 16-8 in the first.
The Meteors pacedElkLake20-13 in the second, 21-9 in the third and 17-10 in the fourth to overturn the early deficit.
Tom Lewis scored 20 points and Cameron Dean had 19 to lead Montrose while Colby Major chipped in 11.
Elk Lake was led by Tanner Reyan with 13 points while Rob Heft chipped in 10 and Nick Dudock had nine.
Against Trail, the Lions got ahead 11-8 after the first quarter and held a 19-16 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Montrose paced the Lions 12-11 in the third, but a 15-13 run by Trail capped off the victory.
Cameron Dean led Montrose with 16 points while Colby Major scored 10 and Tom Lewis each eight points.
Forest City

ForestCitywas paced by Brian Nebzydoski with nine points while Noah Fedak had eight points and David Cavalieri had seven.
Against Susquehanna, the Foresters got ahead 16-7 after the first and held a 31-25 lead over the Sabers at halftime.
ForestCitythen came out to pace Susquehanna 16-8 in the third and despite a 23-11 late-game run from the Sabers, the Foresters took the win.
ForestCitywas held by Dylan Walsh with 20 points while Matt Nevins scored 14 and Cavalieri had 10.
Susquehanna was paced by Cole Mallery with 31 points and 15 rebounds while Andrzej Tomczyk had 13 points.
On Tuesday, the Foresters fell behind 14-6 after the first quarter and were at a 25-13 deficit by the end of the first half.
In the second half, the Foresters fell further behind asRiversidehad a 26-10 run in the third and a 17-10 run in the fourth to take the loss.
Fedak ledForestCitywith 10 points and Vince DeLucy scored nine while Matt Nevins chipped in seven points.

The Mountain View boys’ basketball team faced a 71-41 loss at Lackawanna Trail on Saturday after the team took a 60-51 loss fromLakelandat home on Thursday night.
Against Trail, the Eagles fell behind early as Trail outscored them 20-7 in the first before holding a 46-21 lead overMountain Viewat halftime.
In the second half, the Lions paced the Eagles 15-9 in the third and after an 11-10 run by the Eagles in the fourth, Trail capped the win.
Mountain Viewwas paced by Jon Chipelo with nine points while Greg Smith had eight and Mike Wakalowski had seven.
On Thursday, the Eagles fell behind 17-12 after the first quarter and trailed the Chiefs 26-18 by halftime.
In the second half,Lakelandoutscored the Eagles 19-18 in the third and after each team scored 15 in the fourth, Lakeland took the win.
Mountain View was led by Wakalowski with 15 points while Chipelo had 14 and Nate Chipelo and Nate Goodenough each scored 10.
