Keystone College freshman Jared Conklin, a Blue Ridge grad, helped out the men’s track and field team at the Mason Dixon Conference Championships held last weekend at Gwynedd Mercy College by setting a school record.
Conklin claimed a first place finish in the hammer throw with a school record toss of 168 feet, 11 inches as the team finished fourth out of nine teams.
Conklin also brought home second place honors in the shot put with a throw of 46 feet, 7.25 inches, and fourth place honors in the discus at 132 feet, 2 inches.
