Elementary students, grades one through six, gathered in the Susquehanna Elementary gym on Thursday, May 31, to receive any and all honors they earned during the school year.

A major award each year is the Principal’s Award. The Elementary Principals from the six schools in the county select one student from that school to compete for the county honor. This year Bridget Iveson was selected by Principal Robert Keyes and accompanied him to a luncheon where all six schools presented their candidate.

Iveson received a gift from her principal and a certificate during the annual awards assembly.
Awards handed out by Keyes included: Saber Awards for good behavior, approximately 240 each marking period; home work; reading award for most books read; perfect attendance; spelling; and Presidential  Fitness Awards.
The Perfect Attendance awards went to Aubrey Hyndshaw; Jenna Krall; Samantha Voege; Nichole Anthony; Kailye Towner; Rodney Foote  Jr.; Glenn Costanzo.
