Elk Lake’s Luke Jones finished in third place overall at the 38th annual Cliff Robbins Memorial Race on Saturday at Letterkenny Field in Dallas.
Jones finished 23 seconds behind first place finisher Rico Galassi (16:13) at 16:36 to put in the Warriors’ top boys’ performance.
On the girls’ side, Elk Lake’s Jenny VanEtten placed eighth at 20:32, while Regan Rome, a junior from Dallas, took top honors with a time of 19:07.
Warrior Lainey Bedell finished in 23rd in the girls’ race with a time of 21:32.
In the junior high girls’ race, Elk Lake’s Keri Jones was third overall at 12:40, while Wyoming Valley West’s Audrey Williams took first at 12:39.
Justine Johns finished in seventh at 13:26 for the Lady Warriors while Korena Kraynak took eighth at 13:27, Lexus Hemenway took ninth at 13:34, Katie Bennett took 10th at 13:24 and Julie Vanette took 11th at 13:34.
The junior high boys’ race saw Warrior Daniel Bell finish 19th at 12:10 while Matt Kravitz of North Pocono finished first at 11:02. Also, Warrior Ty Moon placed 20th at 12:11 and Dakota Oswald took 21st at 12:15.
