The Mountain View girls’ soccer team grabbed an 8-0 victory over Elk Lake at home on Wednesday afternoon.
Jenny Molenko had a hat trick while Makenna Whitaker, Hannah Richner, Steph Virbitsky and Morgan Zrowka each scored a goal to lead Mountain View.
Mountain View had 34 shots on goal and 12 corners while goalie Hannah Phillips picked up a pair of saves.
Elk Lake took three shots on goal with no corners while goalie Lindsey Dudock picked up 13 saves.
Montrose
The Montrose Area girls’ soccer team grabbed a 2-1 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday at Polonia Park.
Holy Cross got on the board first with a first half goal at 38:30 to lead the Meteors 1-0 at halftime.
However, Montrose’s Myra Lattimore scored with an assist from Hannah Dieck at 42:40 to tie things up.
Lattimore then knocked in a second goal off an assist from Nichole Lewis at 64:17 to lift the Meteors.
Montrose took 14 shots on goal and had 11 corners while goalie Anna Churco had three saves.
