Elk Lake picks up 4 wins

The Warriors picked up four wins on Tuesday, Sept. 30, on their 3.1-mile home course. Hunter Bedell placed third, with Dan Bell finishing in fourth. Elk Lake also secured the seventh through 11th spots.

Elk Lake picked up wins over Lackawanna Trail, Susquehanna, Lakeland and Mountain View. The Warriors are now 15-1 on the season.

Montrose’s Owen Brewer was fifth leading the Meteors to three wins on the day.

Blue Ridge and Mountain View each picked up one win.

Finishers: Nathan Morgan (LAK) 17:16 on a 3.1-mile course at Elk Lake, Mark Arzie (LAK) 17:53, Hunter Bedell (EL) 17:57, Dan Bell (EL) 18:11, Owen Brewer (MON) 18:19, Mike Arzie (LAK) 18:30, Cody Oswald (EL) 18:38, Cal Owens (EL) 18:40, Seth Owens (EL) 18:40, Dalton Sherman (EL) 19:00, Hunter Watkins (EL) 19:08, Brandon Curley (MON) 19:14, Matthew Kinback (LT) 19:21, Joe Nally (MV) 19:21, Zack Mead (MON) 19:22, Dylan Benscoter (EL) 19:22.

At Honesdale, Forest City picked up wins over Dunmore and Riverside. Tyler Debino was the top finisher for the Foresters, crossing the line 12th, at 19:25 on the 3.1-mile course.

Other Forest City runners included: Josh Korty (FC) 20:25, Will Westgate (FC) 20:39.

The Foresters are 7-9 on the season.
