Salt Springs Celebration

The annual Salt Springs Celebration marked the unofficial end of summer. The day offered something for everyone, with visits from the “Zoomobile” from Ross Park Zoo,exotic birds from Feathered Kisses Avian Sanctuary, a park scavenger hunt, quilt display, demonstrations and bands performing throughout the day on the porch of the Wheaton House. The day culminated with popular local musicians joining forces as “Old’s Kool” in their first public appearance at the festival. Performing together as Old’s Kool were Russ Cole, Jerry Grace, Carl Hagstrom, Pat Hjelm, Ellen Mulligan, Bob Winterstein and Joe Welden. STAFF PHOTO/STACI WILSONBelgie Apotheek
