The Brackney Inn in Silver Lake Twp. was nearly ready to re-open from the October 2017 blaze that destroyed the historic tavern when fire again ripped through the building on Saturday, June 16.
The October fire started in an apartment above the business. The fire on Saturday, according to reports, began in the back left corner of the building in a storage room near a cooler. The building is a total loss.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit, Dunmore.
