Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation has initiation an investigation into possible financial improprieties at Oakland Borough and related entities.
According to a short release issued Friday, the investigation is ongoing and no additional information has been released at this time.
Oakland Borough Council’s regular monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m.
