Join Endless Mountains Theatre Company as they follow the White Rabbit down the rabbit’s hole in their 2019 musical production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr., coming to the stage, Friday- Sunday, Aug. 16-18, at the Montrose Movie Theater, 38 Public Ave., Montrose.
This youth production of the timeless, animated classic features updated songs and all your favorite Wonderland characters.
Join Alice on her adventure as she races the Dodo Bird, meets Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, shares a cup of tea with the Mad Hatter, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game.
You will also see the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar and group of “mean girl” flowers, along with a chorus of other characters that Alice meets on her adventure.
This production is under the direction of April Holgate, who brings years of experience in youth theater to the EMTC stage. The show features performers ranging in age from 5 to 18.
Showtimes are at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evening and 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are available at the box office on the day of the show. Admission is adults/$14; students and seniors/$12. There is a discount available for EMTC members.
EMTC is a non-profit theater company bringing the excitement of the live stage to Susquehanna County. Memberships are available. EMTC is always looking for volunteers both on stage and behind the scenes.
