Police seek armed robbery suspects

Pennsylvania State Police, Gibson, are investigating an armed robbery of a New Milford Borough convenience store on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 1:05 a.m. Three suspects entered the store, one carrying a rifle. Cash and cigarettes were stolen and police believe the suspects fled on foot to a waiting vehicle.

PSP investigators believe the robbery suspects fled in a white or light-colored minivan.

New Milford convenience store just after 1 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14. Police believe the suspects were traveling in a minivan that pulled down Montrose Street and parked behind the store.

Three men entered the Pump N Pantry, located at 493 Main Street in New Milford Borough, wearing dark colored clothing, hoodies and ski masks.

One was holding a rifle and ordered a customer and an employee to give them money.

One suspect removed all the items from the 42-year-old male customer’s pockets and ordered him to get down onto the floor.

Two of the suspects then ordered the employee to open the registers and remove all the cash from the registers while the third male placed Newport cigarettes in a backpack.

While fleeing the store, police say two of the suspects kicked the victim in the head while he was lying on the floor, causing a minor injury.

The three men fled on foot on foot east on Route 492, towards

Interstate 81 where police believe they were picked up by the waiting minivan that was driven by a fourth person involved in the robbery.

All of the suspects were dressed in black or gray clothing and were wearing blue rubber gloves.

  1. It might help if you could click on these photos so that you can bring them up and actually get a good look at the suspect(s) in them. I have always thought this was something that needed to be changed on your website.
