Local boys’ soccer players blanketed the roster of the Lackawanna League Division II and III all-star teams selected.

Class A District II Champion Forest City paced the all-star picks placing eight members on the first and second teams that were selected by the Lackawanna League coaches.

Forward Jay Lipko was selected first team and earned a spot on the Scranton Times All-Regional team. Lipko scored 33 goals while leading the Foresters to their first District II title in program history. Along the way he became Forest City’s all-time leading scorer and finished his career with 91 goals.

Joining his teammate on the first team was midfielder Nick Andrews.  The senior was instrumental in distributing the ball to the Forester front line and helping a stifling defense.

Blue Ridge also placed two members on the first team with Midfielder Ben Bleck and Defender Cameron Franks earning recognition from league coaches.

Bleck led the Blue Ridge attack with 15 goals and six assists during the season while Franks helped anchor a young defense decimated by graduation.

Mountain View Midfielder Mike DeWolfe represented the Eagles on the first team after scoring 15 goals and assisting on three others as he helped lead Mountain View to the District final.

Forest City placed six members on the Division II second team. Senior Goalkeeper Carmine Gigliotti who registered five shutouts during the regular season was joined by Senior Midfielders Matt Carey and Brady Hentschel along with Juniors Corey Daniels at Forward and Defenders Ardie Bronson and Dakota Forester.

Blue Ridge’s Garrett Conklin was selected as a second team Forward and was joined by Mountain View Defender Jarrett Corker.  Elk Forward Alex Bradish and Midfielder Noah Johnson were named second team for Division III.

Scranton Prep’s Spencer Keihl, from New Milford Township, was named first team Midfielder in Division I and earned All Region honors
