A facial reconstruction was performed on human remains found just over three years ago in Choconut Twp. State Police and the Coroner’s office are still attempting to identify the remains.

The remains were found Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 in a wooded area off of McGraw Hill Rd., near the Pennsylvania – New York state line. Police and cadaver dogs combed the area following the discovery.

Recently, a facial reconstruction was performed on the remains. PSP released photos of the reconstruction on Tuesday morning, March 3.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the individual is asked to contact PSP-Gibson, 570-465-3154 and reference incident number PA2017-35713.
