New Milford welcomes Go, Joe!

Area residents line up to cheer on WNEP Channel 16 weatherman Joe Snedeker as he arrived in New Milford’s Mid-Town Park on Friday during his annual bike ride to raise funds for the St. Joseph’s Center in Scranton. Leading up to Snedeker’s arrival, local Girl Scouts offered up face-painting and craft activities; food was available; and special New Milford “Go Joe” t-shirts were sold to raise money for the center. A “Swim for St. Joe’s” also took place at the town pool. Proceeds raised at the event were delivered to the St. Joseph’s Center Festival on Friday night.
