The ceremony for the recognition of current members of the Susquehanna Community High School’s National Junior Honor Society and the induction of new members was held on April 10, in the Helen Gully Auditorium.
Garrison Kiernan provided the music for the procession, the recession and for the singing of the Alma Mater.

Following the welcome by Bridget Iveson, members of the JNHS, Class of 2017, who were being honored took part in the candle lighting ceremony: Hannah Day( Leadership); Garret Grausgruber (Service), Evan Haley (Character), Jessica Lamb (Citizenship) and Saige Perry (Knowledge and Scholarship) took part in the candle lighting ceremony.

Following an address by Gina Glinieski, a member of the faculty, Guidance Counselor Bridget O’Neill introduced the new members, Class of 2018: Isabella Abruzzo, Emily Frye, Macayla Hyndshaw, Bridget Iveson, Tristen Megivern, Kaylin Trynoski, Stephen Vivona and Syla Wilson. O’Neill along with Tammy Stone presented the certificates of membership.

A reception with light refreshments, provided by Mrs. Kristi Rossi and her students was held following the ceremony.
