The Lady Raiders return three starters to the court this season – and none of them are seniors. The young team is led by Megan Houlihan, Isabella Cosmello, and Kim Kline with second season coach. Paula Finn.
Finn is planning on her team improving on their 1-21 record, and although the squad is still young, the players have more experience.
“We have improved every day since the start of our season and we will be competitive in our league.” she said.
The Blue Ridge girls basketball program is building and is also looking towards their junior varsity squad. As those players move up the ranks in the next few years. Blue Ridge expects to see even more success on the court.
Houlihan, Cosmello and Kline are joined by teammates Abbey Hartman, Cayli Wyatt, Hunter Vaugh, Amber Bretch, and Taylor Bronson.
