The driver in an Auburn Township ATV crash last August that claimed the life of his friend was sentenced Thursday in Susquehanna County Court.
Cody Mosher, 24, Laceyville, will serve consecutive 15 to 30 month sentences for aggravated assault by motor vehicle while DUI; and involuntary manslaughter for the Aug. 29, 2014 crash that killed Jeremy Mowry, 38, of Meshoppen, and injured a juvenile passenger.
He was also sentenced to serve six months probation for Driving Under the Influence.
Part of the plea agreement provided for Mosher to be eligible for work release.
Mosher had been scheduled for sentencing in March but had to undergo surgery to reconstruct his hand.
Others sentenced Thursday, May 21 in the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas included:
Aaron Scott Vogel, 20, of New Milford, to 12 days to 12 months in Susquehanna County Correctional Facility for Receiving Stolen Property in Hallstead Borough on April 6, 2014.
Mary Christine Sorak, 20, of New Milford, to 15 months probation, for Corruption of Minors in New Milford Borough on July 11, 2014.
Danielle Louise Schrader, 23, of Southampton, to 12 months probation, for Theft by Unlawful Taking in Bridgewater Township on September 11, 2014.
Seth Zachariah Piasecki, 22, of Scranton, to 1 to 15 months in Susquehanna County Correctional Facility for Corruption of Minors in Clifford Township on December 14, 2013.
Scott J. Burman, 33, of Eynon, to 5 days to 6 months in Susquehanna County Correctional Facility, for Driving Under the Influence in Herrick Township on July 13, 2014.
Robert W. Cole, 61, of Montrose, to 8 to 23 months in Susquehanna County Correctional Facility for Indecent Assault in Montrose Borough between 1997 and 2001.
