Tobacco store robbed in Little Meadows

Pennsylvania State Police, Gibson, are investigating the March 19 robbery of a Little Meadows tobacco store by a person wearing a ski mask. Police reported a large amount of money was stolen in the heist.

The robbery occurred at about 8 p.m., Saturday, as two people drove to the Smart Choice Tobacco store, located at the Pennsylvania – New York state line on SR 858 in Little Meadows.

The unknown suspects were traveling in a gray, Dodge Ran pickup truck.

One person, wearing a ski mask and a hooded jacket, ran into the store and stole a “large amount of money” from the safe, according to police.

The suspect then fled the store to the waiting truck and left the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call PSP, Gibson at 570-465-3154. Tpr. John Oliver is investigating.
