Plea entered on heist from deputy’s home

A Factoryville man admitted to burglarizing two homes, one of which was a Susquehanna County deputy sheriff’s residence, in court on Friday.

Treavor Murdter, 37, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of burglary, lodged against him in separateSusquehannaCountycases.

He was sentenced last week, inLackawannaCounty, to serve over 10 months in state prison on similar charges.

District Attorney Jason Legg told the court the Murdter, along with Jason Fay, of Greenfield Twp., stole a camera, jewelry, a strong box and a pillowcase from the Deputy Sheriff Donald Bennett’s Herrick Twp. residence.

Legg also said that cash, jewelry and a pillowcase was taken from the John McNamara residence in Jackson Twp.

Murdter is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 19, 2012.

As part of the plea agreement, sentences from theSusquehannaCountycases will run concurrent with theLackawannaCountysentence.
