Armetta J. Slocum obit

Armetta J. Slocum, 87, of New Milford, PA was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2025. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Slocum. She was also predeceased by her husband, Clayton Slocum; by her best friend, companion, and father of her children, Robert Warner; her siblings, Thelma, Richard, Georgia, Charles, Harry, Juanita, Clayton, Loretta, Robert, Alberta, William, Lillian, and Alice; two granddaughters, Felicity and Addison.
Armetta is survived by her sons, Timothy Slocum, Robert Warner (Nicole), Joseph (Erika) Warner; one grandson, Austyn Warner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Armetta was born and raised in Oregon. After Clayton’s passing, she moved to Pennsylvania with Timothy. She worked at Beaver’s Diner for many years. Armetta met Robert and they had two sons together. She enjoyed investing in Real Estate. After Robert’s passing, she raised the three boys on her own. She was a devoted mom who supported her sons from racing to demolition derbies and met the needs of her oldest son’s handicap until 2020 when she was no longer able to, however, continually checked in on him. Her greatest joy came with the birth of her grandson and spending time with her sons was a favorite pastime. Armetta was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
