Jerry A. Myers, 86, of Springville, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Born April 10, 1939, in Pittston, PA, the son of the late Orton L. and Eleanor (Graham) Myers. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy in Norman, Oklahoma, training as an air traffic controller. He also graduated with a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in Business Administration.
Jerry was employed in Business Management in various industries such as Exide Batteries, Ozalid, GAF and as Susquehanna County Chief Clerk. He was a member and former deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Montrose.
He was a proud member of the Harford Warren F&AM Lodge #445, Hop Bottom. Jerry was a member of the Silver Creek Lodge hunting club. He was also a longtime member of the Montrose Club, where he valued fellowship and friendship. In earlier years, he sang with the Church Street Singers, sharing his love of music with the community. A devoted Elvis fan, he greatly enjoyed the King’s music and spirit throughout his life. He also was a long time member of the Central Conservation Club of South Montrose where many family reunions were held and enjoyed by relatives near and far.
Survivors include significant other, Pamela Jenner of Springville, PA; three daughters; Deborah (William) Lewis, Kristine (Timothy) Loomis and Dana (Joseph) Gilhool all of Montrose, PA; 9 grandchildren: Alex (Bryan), Matthew (Talitha), Nicki (Corey), Justin (Megan), Meghan (Jack),
Chris, Anna (Josh), Madison (Caden) and Brennan; 3 great-grandchildren; Mila, Tate and Waylon. In addition to his parents, his brother, David O. Myers, predeceased him.
