Elk Lake swim swept both the boys’ and girls’ matches versus Holy Cross held in Dimock. The Lady Warriors won 101-8 as three different swimmers won a pair of races. Brynn Warriner captured both the 100 and 200-meter freestyle events. She won the 100 free in a time of 1:01.66 and was followed by teammate Trinity Bell.
Warriner took the 200-yard 2:21.23 ahead of teammate Alayna Stang. Chelsea Grosvenor won the 100-yard breast stroke in 1:26.10 and the individual medley in 2:36.91 just ahead of Avery Kerr.
Allison Long also had a pair of victories winning the 50-yard freestyle in 30.91 seconds and she
won the 100-yard back stroke in 1:22.27. Lydia Howell was second. Kerr had a victory in the 100-yard butterfly winning in 1:18.65 just ahead of Howell. McKenna Puterbaugh captured the 500-yard freestyle in 6:46.79.
The Lady Warriors swept all three relay races as Purterbaugh, Bell, Grosvenor and Warriner
won the 200-yard medley in 2:18.31 and the team of Grosvenor, Howell, Kerr and Stang won
the 200-yard freestyle in 2:01.19. Long, Bell, Puterbaugh, and Warriner completed the sweep with a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 4:48.91.
The boys won both relay races and Nico Christian won two races as the Warriors defeated the
Crusaders 70-48.
Christian won the 50-yard freestyle in 27.05 finishing just ahead of teammate Blaize Ball. He
captured the 100-yard freestyle in 1:01.90 just ahead of Aiden Hollister.
Isaac Dilmore won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:13.41 and was followed by Ball. He finished
second in the 100-yard butterfly.
Isaiah Jones won the 100-yard breast stroke with a time of 1:24.76 and was second in the
200-yard individual medley.
The Warriors won the 200-yard freestyle relay as Jones, Dillmore, Christian and Ball finished in
1:49.78. The quartet captured the 400-yard freestyle race in 4:08.04.
