A weekend storm pushed back the league schedule as most teams played two games in a three
day span, but the standing remained the same as Elk Lake won its lone contest.
John Heitsman scored 10 points in the third quarter as Elk Lake overcame a one-point halftime
deficit and pulled away late for a 56-47 over Blue Ridge. Heitsman finished with 20 points as the Warriors remained on top of the Lackawanna League Division III standings. Parker Upright added 11 points and Brayden Miller finished with eight.

Paxton Pingarelli led the Raiders with 13 points including seven in the opening quarter while
Brendan Marvin added 10 points and Jack Parks had eight.
Susquehanna kept pace with the Warriors in the Division III standings, tripling Forest City in
the first half and never looking back in a 59-32 win. The Sabers led 30-10 at the half after holding the Foresters to a lone field goal in the first quarter. Individual statistics were not provided to the Independent by press time.
Lackawanna Trail scored the last 10 points of the first half and then outscored Mountain View
33-21 in the second half to prevail 65-43. Hudson Bain had 13 points to lead the Eagles while Jordan Jagger finished with 11 and Gavin Travis added nine.
Montrose doubled up Carbondale in the first half and won 63-47 on the road. Jai Herman led the charge with 17 points while Evan McComb added 12 and Jude Adams finished with nine points.
Susquehanna scored 22 points in the second quarter to break open the game and run away
with a 66-33 win over Mountain View.
Leading 12-7 after the first quarter, the visiting Sabers outscored the host Eagles 22-8 to seize
control of the game. Griffin Fisk led three Sabers in double figures scoring 18 points while Linden Baker added 14 and Jaxson Downton added 11. Hudson Bain scored 15 points to pace Mountain View.
Montrose held off a Forest City fourth-quarter surge to keep the Foresters winless with a 41-38
win at Montrose. The Foresters jumped out to the early lead surprising the host Meteors with a 12-6 advantage after the first quarter.
Montrose turned the tables in the next quarter as Jai Herman scored six points as the Meteors
took the lead 18-17 at intermission. The Meteors expanded the lead to 34-27 at the end of the third quarter and held off the Foresters comeback.
Evan McComb led the Meteor attack with 11 points including two end of quarter three-pointers
and Herman finished with eight points. TJ Collins led the Foresters with 14 points while Jayden Carter and Jaxon Owens each contributed eight.
Lackawanna Trail outscored Blue Ridge 33-20 in the second half to pull away with a 55-40 victory. Paxton Pingarelli paced the Raiders with 11 points while Brendan Marvin and Travis Rutter each finished with eight points.
