The Elk Lake field hockey team was handed its first loss of the season on Friday in a 1-0 shutout from GAR in Dimock.
Unique Twyman’s first half goal proved to be enough to propel the Grenadiers to a victory over Elk Lake, as the Warriors failed to find the cage.
ElkLakehad one shot on goal and seven corners, whileElkLakegoalie Luke Meyers picked up 10 saves on the day.
The loss put the Warriors’ record at 4-1 on the season.
