Locals playing in ‘Dream Game’

 

On Wednesday night several locals will square off in the 78th annual Scranton Lions Club Dream Game at Scranton Memorial Stadium, marking their final varsity football appearances.

The game, starting at7:30 p.m., will feature Montrose Area’s Jeremy Dibble and Susquehanna’s Austin Cowperthwait, Jesse Pruitt and Gage Piechocki.

 

The Montrose and Susquehanna players will be a part of the City team coached by

Keith Olsommer, also featuring players from Scranton Prep, Wallenpaupack, Holy Cross,West Scranton,North Pocono,Scranton,DunmoreandDelawareValley.

They will face off against the County team, coached by Frank Pazzaglia featuring players from Lackawanna Trail,Lakeland, Old Forge,AbingtonHeights, Mid Valley,Riverside, Honesdale, Valley View andCarbondale.

Last year, the City team handed a loss to the County to give the City a one-game lead in the overall record between the two at 37-36-4.
