Gymnastics team starts season with first place finish

On December 11th the Endless Mountains Gymnastics team (Eagles) entered their first competition of the 2010-2011 gymnastics season.

The Endicott Holiday Classic is a unique meet in the sense that the team score is determined by adding the top four scores in each event regardless of gymnasts’ age and level.

The EMG Eagles performed very well and managed to win the first place team award. Second place went to Techniques gymnastics. The Endicott Acros gymnastics team finished third.

The EMG eagles are beginning their fourth competition season since the Endless Mountains Gymnastics Center opened its doors in Wyalusing in May of 2007.

The quality of the gymnastics at the club has been developing rapidly and the team is expecting this year to contend for high place finishes at the State, Regional and National competitions in low levels.

Participating in the Holiday Classic were:

Copper Level:  Maribelle Albert, Morena Monterosso, Jazmine Elliot, Callie Bennett, Jaeden Patson, Morgan Rockwell, Mikenna Shafer, Emily Carr, Mackenzie Harmon, Torrah Dughi, Olivia White, Makynna Wickwire, Christina Wildonger, Stephanie White, Kayla Shafer, Tehya Turner and Tarah Decker.

Bronze Level:  Lylah Oswald, Maddie Jones, Ashlee Newton, Brianna Kinner, Stephanie White and Kayla Shafer.
