State police confiscated more than $10,000 in cash and filed charges against four Syracuse, N.Y., men after a traffic stop in Susquehanna County.
State police at Gibson said the incident occurred after an SUV was stopped for violations on Interstate 81 south at 5:47 p.m. Thursday in Lenox Township.
The occupants agreed to a search, and police said they confiscated drug paraphernalia and $10,002 in cash.
The four suspects – Jonathan Perez, 23; Terrence Sanders, 23; James D. Coleman, 24; and Pedro C. Galdon, 46 – were charged with criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released after processing, police reported.
