Smokke, no fire, at Lenoxville Store

BY DAVID FALCHEK, Times-Shamrock Writer

LENOX TWP. – Several Susquehanna County fire departments responded Monday evening to a Lenoxville convenience store, but it turned out to be just smoke.

The fire alarm was called in about 9:45 p.m. at the Convenient Food Mart at 3615 State Route 374, but firefighters found smoke from what they believe was a malfunctioning heating and air conditioning unit, said Clifford Twp. Volunteer Fire Department Chief Trent Turner.

Chief Turner said there was no damage to the store and no injuries, but the HVAC system will have to serviced.
