Endless Mountains Theater Company brings the 1987 Tom Hanks movie “Big” to life in musical form on the stage atMountain ViewHigh Schoolthis weekend.
The production stars Will Hagenbuch as the “grown-up” Josh Baskin, a 12-year-old whose wish to be “big” is granted by a magical fortune teller machine.
Josh lands a job at a toy company and falls for “Susan,” played by Bonnie Love-Colwell but learns that being an adult isn’t quite what he thought it would be.
Dustyn Carpenter, in his first EMTC performance, plays Josh’s best friend, “Billy Kopecki.”

Amy Zakarauskas serves double duty as both the director and musical director of the production.
Memorable musical numbers include “Cross that Line” and the jazz-infused “Coffee Black.”
Performances will be held Friday and Saturday, July 29-30, at7 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at3 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door. Cost is $10/adults; and $8/students, seniors and EMTC members.
