The man killed in a Wednesday (Oct. 12) afternoon crash on Route 267 in Susquehanna County has been identified.
Dennis Ormar Argueta, 32, of Hondurus but living inScranton, was killed when the 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier he was driving collided with a 2007 Chevrolet pick-up truck, driven by Cameron Downey of Loganton, troopers said.
Argueta was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in that vehicle, whose name also was withheld, was seriously injured, state police said.Downeysuffered unspecified injuries.
The vehicles crashed at the crest of a knoll at about 5:50 p.m. An investigation was under way Wednesday night.
