The Susco East 11-12 boys’ all-stars faced a loss to Wellsboro in the consolation bracket of the Daniel J. Aquilio III tournament on Wednesday night to end the team’s season.
Susco East battled their way back through the consolation bracket after losing their first game, only to have their dreams dashed as Wellsboro edged the boys in a 4-3 game.
The Susco East team was the lastSusquehannaCountyteam left in District 15 Little League contention after the remainder of teams were eliminated the previous week.
