Marco,Tomczyk top SCHS homecoming royalty

The homecoming court at Susquehanna Community High School consisted of, from left, Coleman Hansen, Kyleigh Fiske, Andrzej Tomczyk, Lindsey Glidden, Cody Dibble, Danielle Barnes, Cole Mallery, Emily Carmody, Jagr Brier, Devin Breese, Troy Maby, Amanda Marco, Will Terpstra, and Ashley Sweeney.

Amanda Marco was crowned Susque- hanna Community High School’s 2012 Home- coming Queen and Andrzej Tomczyk was crowned Homecoming King at a dance held on Saturday evening, October 6.

Marco has been involved in football and basketball cheerleading, student council, prom committee and yearbook. She plans to attend college and work toward a degree in human resources management.

Tomczyk is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Pump Club and played basketball for four years. He plans to attend college.

The crowning of the queen and king concluded a Homecoming Week of Spirit Days. On Monday students were asked to dress as their favorite team; Tuesday was Crazy Hair day; Wednesday was Mix and Match Clothes day; Thursday was Camouflage day with Friday being Saber Spirit day with most students wearing the school colors, blue and white. There was window painting, parade and the ever popular Friday night bon-fire after the parade.
