Pennsylvania State Police seized about six and one-half pounds of marijuana from a Liberty Twp. man’s home on Sept. 28.

Police first discovered marijuana plants growing in a wooded area behind Raymond Toman’s Mucky Run Road home.

In addition to the marijuana, police also seized drug paraphernalia, including lights used for the indoor cultivation of marijuana, from inside Toman’s home.

Toman, age 53, was taken into custody and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance; Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tpr. Joseph Holland investigated.

Following a Sept. 30 bail hearing in front of District Judge Jeffrey Hollister, he was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Oct. 7 in Montrose District Court.
