The Montrose Area School board held its annual reorganization meeting Monday, with few major changes.
President Chris Caterson and Vice President Doug Wilcox were re-elected.
School director George Gow resigned his seat earlier this year but his name remained on the November ballot and he was re-elected.
Gow’s resignation was again accepted by the board, with regret Monday, effective Dec. 2, and his seat is again open for applicants who wish to represent Region 2 on the school board. This position has already been advertised.
Earlier this year, the board appointed Richard Jordan, of Montrose, to fill the vacant seat.
Re-elected members sworn in Monday included Kristen Follert (Region 1), Gloria Smith (Region 1), and Karl Wimmer (Region 3).
Board committee selections were also approved.
After the reorganization meeting, a work session was held, followed by a clear session for personnel purposes.
