Meyers’ defense held Montrose in check for most of the game, holding the Meteors to 81 total yards of offense through the first three quarters.
Montrose broke through in the fourth quarter though when Derek Nunez scored on runs of 11 and 65 yards to end the game’s scoring.
Montrose’s Matt Saravitz opened the scoring for the Meteors when he connected on a 38-yard field goal in the first quarter.
Meyers scored a 41-17 victory over Montrose in a nonleague game Friday night.
