Meyers held Susquehanna to just 58 total yards in a commanding 32-0 win on Friday night at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium.

Meyers’ Mark Robinson rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. Robinson is a big-play back and the Sabers did not have an answer for him all night.

He showed his speed in the open field when he busted a 69-yard touchdown for the second score of the game in the second quarter.

Quarterback Willie Wallace was 4 of 9 passing for the game with an 11-yard touchdown to Michael Horvath.

With Wallace in the gun for most of the night, Meyers racked up 333 yards of total offense and 11 first downs.

The defense was equally impressive. It didn’t allow a play over 18 yards and forced four fumbles, recovering three of them.

The defensive line was in the backfield all night and did not allow any running room for the Sabers’ runners, who finished with just 32 yards on 24 carries.
