Warriors, Meteors remain undefeated

The Elk Lake and Montrose boys both stayed unbeaten on the track last week.

Elk Lake defeated Lackawanna Trail, 83-66. Hunter Watkins won the 300 hurdles, discus and javelin for the Warriors.

Montrose beat Susquehanna, 121-28. Colin Chidester won the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and triple jump for the Meteors.

Mountain View defeated Blue Ridge, 91-46. Joe Nally set a school record by clearing 13-0 in the pole vault for Mountain View.

Blue Ridge’s Hunter Conklin set a school record in the 100 with a time of 11.1 seconds.

The Elk Lake girls remained unbeaten with a 117-27 win over Lackawanna Trail. Mikaela Meaders won the 100, javelin and the triple jump and was on a winning relay for the Lady Warriors.

Blue Ridge got a pair of wins from Lindsey Rupakus, Amber Brecht, Jessie Purdum, Isabella Cosmello and Kim Klim in a 102-46 win over Mountain View.

And Montrose defeated Susquehanna, 92-52. Madison Gilhool led the Lady Meteors with wins in the 100 and 200.
